Ernest Rutherford (1908)
The first use of the term γ radiation , after Rutherford introduced the terms α and β radiation in 1899.

The List of Writings of Ernest Rutherford provides an overview of the scientific and other writings written by Ernest Rutherford . The first book he wrote Radio-Activity was published in 1904, the last was published in 1937 under the title The Newer Alchemy . Rutherford has published his work in, among others, Philosophical Magazine , the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London , Physikalische Zeitschrift , Nature and the Journal of the Chemical Society .

His co-authors included the later Nobel Prize winners Frederick Soddy , Otto Hahn and James Chadwick , but also Hans Geiger , Bertram Boltwood , Charles Drummond Ellis and many others.
