Ernesto Giacomo Parodi
Ernesto Giacomo Parodi (born November 21, 1862 in Genoa , † 1923 in Florence ) was an Italian Romanist .
life and work
Parodi was a student of Pio Rajna (1847–1930) and teacher of Alfredo Schiaffini (1895–1971). From 1892 he taught in Florence. From 1906 until his death he was the successor to Michele Barbi (1867-1941) editor of the Bulletino of the Società Dantesca Italiana. As part of the national Dante edition of 1921, he edited the Convivio together with Flaminio Pellegrini (1868–1928) ( Le opere di Dante. Testo critico della Società dantesca italiana , Florence 1921).
