The Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Turnhalle is the headquarters of the Turnerbund Hamburg-Eilbeck at Hamburger Ritterstrasse 9 in Hamburg-Eilbek and was opened on May 9, 1914. It was named after the German writer , historian , freedom fighter and member of the Frankfurt National Assembly Ernst Moritz Arndt .

During air raids in the Second World War , the gym burned out in 1943 and was rebuilt in a different form after the war; instead of the original gable roof, the hall was given a barrel roof . It was not until 1987 that the gym was given its original name Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Turnhalle back.

This building is the 15th station in the Eilbeck Round Table . A red plaque is attached to the west / street side of the building with historical information on the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Gym and the TH-Eilbeck .
