Ernst Esche (businessman)
Ernst Reinhold Esche (born May 4, 1817 in Limbach ; † February 22, 1873 ) was a German businessman, textile entrepreneur and liberal politician.
Live and act
Ash was from 1843 owner of his father Traugott Reinhold Esche founded hosiery factory Reinhold Esche in Limbach, which is the oldest company in the industry in Saxony. Around 1860 he employed 110 factory workers, many of whom were girls and children, and another 50 to 60 workers in the finishing department. In addition, many products were made in home work. The production comprised cotton, pile and half silk articles, which were exported to all parts of the world.
From 1862 Esche was a member of the Chemnitz Chamber of Commerce. From 1869 until his death he represented the 31st rural constituency in the second chamber of the Saxon state parliament .
Esche was married to Emmy Luise Krause (1825–1895) from 1846. Their daughter Emmy Margaretha geb. Esche married Eugen Esche in 1870 , co-owner of the Moritz Samuel Esche hosiery factory in Chemnitz .
