Ernst Fivian

Ernst Fivian (born August 12, 1931 in Thun ) is a former Swiss gymnast from the 1950s.

Among his greatest successes in the discipline Gymnastics include multi-discipline / team winning the silver medal at the 1952 Olympics of Helsinki and the 8th place eight years later in Rome and the 5th place in the European Championships 1959 in Copenhagen , where Fivian in the single discipline Boden reached the 1st rank. For his achievements, Fivian was voted Swiss Sportsman of the Year in 1959.

As a sprightly senior, Fivian is still active at his home club, TV Thun.
