Ernst G. Wahlgren
Ernst Gotthard Wahlgren (born December 20, 1879 in Härnösand , † February 1, 1938 in Uppsala ) was a Swedish Romanist .
life and work
Ernst Gotthard Wahlgren received his doctorate in Uppsala in 1914 with the Étude sur les actions analogiques réciproques du parfait et du parfait passé dans les langues romanes. 1. Wahlgren was a high school teacher in Uppsala, as well as a private lecturer at Uppsala University and from 1932 honorary professor. Bengt Hasselrot and Alf Lombard were among his students . His death prevented the planned call for a professorship in Lund .
