Ernst-Hermann Hans Konrad Karl Jahr (born June 12, 1909 in Cramon , Schwerin district , † January 16, 1980 in Lemgo ) was a German police officer and SS leader .
Live and act
Jahr was born the son of a pastor. In 1930 he joined the NSDAP (membership number 196.793) and in 1933 the SS (membership number 86.155). 1937 doctorate he attended the University of Göttingen Dr. jur.
After joining the Gestapo , Jahr was a clerk in the economic affairs department. According to the business distribution plan of March 1941, at that time he was Head of Section C 3 (Press and Literature Affairs) in Office IV ( Gestapo ) of the Reich Security Main Office . In February 1943 he was transferred to the Gestapo in Königsberg . In January 1944 he took over the management of the Tilsit police station .
In the SS he had held the rank of SS Sturmbannführer since 1940 .
On October 12, 1960, Jahr was sentenced to three years and three months in prison by the Dortmund Regional Court.
