Ernst Ludwig von Remchingen zu Kaltental (* 1622 ; † November 15, 1689 ) was a lieutenant colonel and bailiff , d. H. Fortress Commander, from Tübingen .

origin

The von Remchingen family belonged to the knighthood in southwest Germany and was founded in its Württemberg line by Johann Sigismund von Remchingen (1541–1604), Obervogt zu Kirchheim unter Teck.

In 1662, Ernst Ludwig von Remchingen offered the Kaltental castle and estate for sale to Duke Ulrich von Württemberg-Neuenbürg , a younger son of Duke Johann Friedrich von Württemberg , for a minimum price of 4,000 Reichstalers .

He became engaged to Maria Gottliebin von Liebenstein, who then renounced her paternal, maternal and fraternal inheritance claims on July 5, 1662.
