Ernst Magerl

Ernst Magerl (born March 14, 1896 in Rodingersdorf ; † May 31, 1988 in Ravelsbach ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and district judge. Magerl was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1932 to 1938 .

After attending grammar school in Horn, Magerl did military service between 1915 and 1918 and then studied law and philosophy at the University of Vienna . He then worked as a district judge in Schrems . After the National Socialists came to power, Magerl was suspended from service and subsequently worked as a lawyer from 1940 to 1945. In 1946 he became President of the Krems an der Donau District Court , and in 1956 he moved to the Korneuburg District Court .

Magerl joined the Christian Social Party in 1923 and represented it from May 21, 1932 to October 30, 1934 in the Lower Austrian state parliament. During the Austrofascism, Magerl was from November 22, 1934 to March 12, 1938 representative of agriculture and forestry in the state parliament of Lower Austria.
