Ernst Meier (athlete)
Ernst Meier (* 1913 ; † after 1946) is a former Swiss marathon runner .
In 1937 he was fourth in the Swiss Marathon Championship. The following year he became Swiss marathon champion and came in eleventh place at the European Athletics Championships in Paris .
In 1940 he was again Swiss champion with his personal best of 2:43:24 h. At the Košice Marathon in 1946 he finished eighth.
