Ernst Remelé

Ernst Hubert Remelé (born August 6, 1842 in Euskirchen ; † October 12, 1914 ) was a German judge .

Life

The photographer and Africa explorer Philipp Remelé (1844–1883) was his brother. Remelé studied in Berlin and Heidelberg, among others. During his studies he became a member of the Academic Liedertafel Berlin in the Sondershäuser Association in 1860/61 . In 1865 he was sworn in to the Prussian sovereign. In 1871 he became a regional judge. He was the examining magistrate of the apparitions of Mary in Marpingen in 1876/1877 . In 1878 he was appointed regional judge and in 1885 higher regional judge. In 1894 he came to the Imperial Court. He was active in the 2nd Civil Senate . He retired in 1912. His daughter Caroline (1893–) married Otto Hermann Steche .
