Ernst Tschirch

Ernst Leberecht Tschirch (born July 3, 1819 in Lichtenau , Lauban district , † December 26, 1854 in Berlin ) was a German composer and conductor .

Tschirch was Kapellmeister of the new city theater in Stettin from 1849 to 1851 . He wrote several operas, none of which were performed. His estate is kept in the Berlin State Library .

His brothers Wilhelm and Rudolf were also musicians.
