Ernst Wahlberg

Ernst Leonard Wahlberg (born October 15, 1904 in Stockholm , † May 1, 1977 there ) was a Swedish football player .

career

Wahlberg began his career at Djurgårdens IF . When Allsvenskan was introduced in the summer of 1924, "Sudden", as his nickname was , changed to AIK . In his first season he emerged as an outstanding goalscorer, scoring twelve goals this season in 15 games. In 1928 the merchant was banned from the Swedish Association together with Per Kaufeldt for three months because of profit. The two players had received 50 crowns per game from the club, more than the permitted 30 crowns. Four years later, the next incident occurred with the association. AIK had become Swedish champions in 1932 and the association awarded the eleven players with the most appearances with a gold medal. Wahlberg was only in twelfth place, but was still honored to the disadvantage of Åke Sigrell . In 1934 he ended his career after 151 first division games and 93 first division players.

On November 16, 1930 Wahlberg came in the 1: 4 defeat against Austria for his only use in the Swedish national jersey .
