Ernst von Richthofen

Ernst Carl Felix Freiherr von Richthofen (born July 24, 1825 in Brechelshof , Jauer district ; † May 9, 1892 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer and politician . He was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives (1862-1870).

Life

Ernst von Richthofen came from the noble family of Richthofen . He was the son of District Administrator Karl von Richthofen (1787–1841), his older brother was the legal historian Karl von Richthofen (1811–1888). He studied law in Bonn , where he became a member of the Frankonia fraternity in Bonn in 1847 . After his studies he became the owner of the estates Brechelshof, Tscharnikau, Tschierschkau, Klein Schönbrück, Niederstreit and Mittelfaulbrück. He was district deputy von Jauer and from 1862 to 1870 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for constituencies 6, 7 and 9 in Liegnitz . He belonged to the right / Grabow , the constitutional and the old liberals.
