Klaus-Peter Gosch (* 7. February 1952 ) is a former German football player before 1970-1972 for BSG Chemie Leipzig and FC Forward Frankfurt (Oder) in the DDR-Oberliga , the top division in East German football , played . Gosch is a multiple GDR junior national player.

Athletic career

The GDR print media first took notice of Klaus-Peter Gosch when he was appointed to the squad of the GDR junior national team in the summer of 1969 . He played his first international junior game as a left midfielder on July 9, 1969 in the encounter between the GDR and Finland (1-0). Another seven international appearances were added by the end of 1969. In the GDR football season 1969/70, the 17-year-old Gosch was already in the 2nd team of Chemie Leipzig in the third-class district league . With her he became Leipzig district champion and took part in the four promotion games to the GDR league , with which the Leipzigers qualified for the GDR league. In addition, Gosch helped the 2nd team to win the Leipzig District Cup with a 2-1 final winning goal over Motor Grimma.

For the 1970/71 season Gosch was nominated for the top division team of BSG Chemie. At first he played the first seven point games in the GDR league team. In between he came on the 3rd matchday of the league in the encounter 1. FC Union Berlin - Chemie Leipzig (0-0) for his first league appearance as a substitute for 25 minutes. He was then regularly used as a league player between the 8th and 19th matchday and came in his first league season on 15 missions in which he scored three goals. For Chemie II, he played twelve GDR league games and scored two goals.

Before it was known that both chemistry teams would be relegated in 1971, Gosch was drafted into the National People's Army for 18 months in May 1971 . During this time he played after a short interlude with the fourth-class district class team of the Vorwärts Army Sports Association in Kühlungsborn at the main club of the Vorwärts Army Sports Association , FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder). There he played in the league season 1971/72 from the 3rd match day on 19 point games, in which he was used in various positions in the attack and scored a goal. After he had completed the first seven league games (two goals) for FC Vorwärts mainly as a left winger in 1972/73, he was discharged from the army in October 1972.

Gosch returned to Leipzig, but joined the third-class BSG rotation in Leipzig in 1950 . He helped her in 1973 to the championship in the district league and promotion to the GDR league. There he came in 1973/74 to nine league matches and a goal, then the BSG rose again from the district league. After rotation in 1978 also relegated to the district class, Gosch moved to the district league team Motor Leipzig-Lindenau for the 1980/81 season. There he finally ended his footballer career.
