Erwin Gohlke

Erwin Gohlke (born April 10, 1954 ) is a former German middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance and started for the GDR .

Erwin Gohlke began in Waren (Müritz) with the then BSG Lokomotive Waren / Rethwisch with athletics and was delegated to SC Neubrandenburg in 1967.

In 1973 he was European Junior Champion with the relay over 4 × 400 m. At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1977 in San Sebastián, he won silver.

From 1975 to 1977 he was three times in a row GDR runner-up in the hall. In 1975 and 1976 he was also third in the open air at the GDR championships.

Erwin Gohlke started for SC Neubrandenburg .
