Erwin Kaldarasch

Erwin Kaldarasch (born April 19, 1940 in Brodina ) is a German handball player and coach .

He played for SC DHfK Leipzig . With this club he won the European Cup in 1966 .

Erwin Kaldarasch played at the 1964 World Cup in the squad of the GDR men's national handball team . He played a total of eight international matches for the GDR.

Kaldarasch coached the SV Post Schwerin team from 1967 to 1976 , which he led into the top division, the Oberliga. From 1983 to 1986 and 1998/1999 he trained the Schweriner again. From 1977 to 1979, from 1987 to 1989 and again from January 2004 he was coach of the Algerian men's national handball team . He also coached the handball national team of the United Arab Emirates for four years . Before 2003 he also worked as a handball coach in India , Cameroon and Mali .
