Erwin Keil (born November 30, 1980 ) is an Austrian football player.

Career

Keil began his career in the youth team of the SK Bischofshofen before moving to the federal youth center in Salzburg in 2000. In 2001 he went on loan to FC Puch for one year before moving to SV Austria Salzburg in 2002 . There Keil made his Bundesliga debut in the 2004/05 season after a few seasons in the second team of Austria.

Keil came on on November 6, 2004 against VfB Admira Wacker Mödling in the 82nd minute for Ricardo Villar . The attacking midfielder achieved his first Bundesliga goal on November 27, 2004 against SV Mattersburg , which was the 1: 2 connection goal in the 1: 2 defeat. Keil came into play in the 77th minute for Roberto Brown . Another hit this season followed.

After the acquisition of SV Austria Salzburg by Red Bull Erwin remained with the club and played for the amateur team of Red Bull Salzburg. In 2008 he was promoted to the second highest Austrian division, the First League, with the Red Bull Juniors . During the 2007/08 winter break, Keil moved to Salzburg's local rivals SV Grödig , where he immediately became a regular under coach Heimo Pfeifenberger . Even with the Grödigers he made it to the first league but moved back to the Regionalliga West to TSV St. Johann . There he wears the number 7.
