Erwin Pokorny

Erwin Pokorny (born March 11, 1920 in Wiener Neustadt ; † March 4, 1973 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and union secretary. From 1969 to 1973 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Pokorny completed an apprenticeship as a gardener and worked as a textile worker. He was involved as a works council and served as ÖAAB main district chairman from 1956 to 1959 . In addition, he was federal chairman of the Christian trade unionist faction in the textile workers' union and represented the ÖVP between December 4, 1969 and March 4, 1973 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
