Erwin Schramm (politician, 1898)

Erwin Schramm (born March 12, 1898 in Irmsdorf , Moravia , † November 30, 1991 in Wiener Neustadt ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). He was a city councilor in Wiener Neustadt and in 1962 a member of the Austrian National Council .

After elementary school, Schramm attended the technical college and learned the trade of a locksmith. Between 1930 and 1934 he was active as a traveling teacher for the Reich Organization of School and Child Friends in Burgenland and from 1927 to 1934 a local councilor in Neufeld an der Leitha . As a result of the Austrian Civil War , he was arrested in 1934 and in the detention camp Kaisersteinbruch and detention camp Wöllersdorf detained. After the Second World War , he was from 1946 to 1965 City Councilor in Wiener Neustadt and District Secretary of the SPÖ Wiener Neustadt. He briefly represented the SPÖ in the National Council from June 26, 1962 to December 14, 1962.

In 1977 he was awarded the Badge of Honor for Services to the Liberation of Austria .
