Erwin Weitzl
Erwin Weitzl (born July 17, 1960 ) is a former Austrian shot putter .
At the European Athletics Indoor Championships he was twelfth in Milan in 1982 and sixth in Budapest in 1983 . At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 and at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he was eliminated from the qualification.
Nine times he was Austrian champion in the shot put (1979–1986, 1988) and seven times in discus throw (1980, 1983, 1986–1990). Between 1981 and 1985 he won the national title in the shot put five times in a row.
