The Esnagi Lake is a lake in Algoma District the Canadian province of Ontario .
The lake is 344 m above sea level in the area of the Canadian Shield . It is 60 km north of Wawa and 55 km east of White River . The lake is traversed by the upper reaches of the Magpie River from north to south over its entire length of 34 km. The maximum width of the lake is 4 km.
The Canadian Pacific Railway runs at the southern end of the lake . Swanson stop is on the lakeshore. The lake can be reached either by seaplane or by train.
Esnagi Lake is a destination for fishing tourists who catch eyeglasses , pike , herring whitefish and American perch in the lake .
