The Esplanade de La Défense underground station is on line 1 of the Paris Métro in the La Défense district on the edge of the suburbs of Courbevoie and Puteaux . The station has a central platform , as it is severely narrowed on the sides by the A 14 , which also leads through a tunnel to La Défense.
history
The station opened on April 1, 1992 as part of the western extension of the line from Pont de Neuilly to La Défense .
In October 2009, the installed RATP at the station for passenger safety platform doors .
