Esqueiros is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Esqueiros belongs to the Vila Verde county in the Braga district . The community had an area of 1.9 km² and 490 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the communities Esqueiros, Nevogilde and Travassós were merged to form the new community União das Freguesias de Esqueiros, Nevogilde e Travassós .
