Travassós is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Travassós belongs to the Vila Verde district in the Braga district . The community had an area of 1.01 km² and 218 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Travassós, Esqueiros and Nevogilde were merged to form the new municipality União das Freguesias de Esqueiros, Nevogilde e Travassós .
