The Estadio Municipal de Baucau ( tetum Estádiu Munisípiu Baucau , German  municipal stadium Baucau ) is a multi-purpose stadium in East Timor's second largest city Baucau .

history

During the crisis in East Timor in 1999 , the stadium served as a refugee camp.

Sporting events

In addition to the stadium in Maliana , the Estadio Municipal de Baucau was the second venue for the Liga Futebol Amadora Primeira Divisão 2017 . The opening ceremony of the 2017 season also took place here on February 18.
