The Estadio Polideportivo de Pueblo Nuevo is a sports stadium in San Cristóbal , Venezuela . It is known as "The Holy Temple" (Spanish el Templo Sagrado ) of Venezuelan football. It is mainly used as a venue for home games of the Deportivo Táchira FC football club .

Built in 1975 with a capacity of 28,000, it hosted four games of the 2007 Copa America . For this reason it was completely renovated in 2006/07. The main grandstand was expanded and re-roofed, all grandstands rearranged, the lighting system renewed, and the players' cabins rebuilt. It also got a press room and air-conditioned VIP boxes. The renovation work increased the audience capacity to 42,000.
