The Estanys de Tristaina are three mountain lakes in the municipality and ski area of Ordino in the north of the Principality of Andorra , near the border with France .

The Tristaina Primer with an area of ​​around 2 hectares is located at 2,249 meters above sea level, the Tristaina del Mig with 3.4 hectares at 2,288 meters and the larger Tristaina de Amunt with around 12 hectares at 2,306 meters. The three lakes are fed by unnamed springs and meltwater and are connected by small streams. The lake water of the group of three flows into the Valira river, which flows north-south to Spain .

The highest point in the lake area is the Pic de Tristaina mountain at 2,876 meters, on the border with France.
