Francisco Padilla (born March 7, 1993 ) is a Mexican ice hockey player who has been playing for San Jeronimo in Mexico again since 2013.

Career

Francisco Padilla began his career as a hockey player with San Jeronimo. When the semi-professional league Mexicana Élite was founded in 2010 , he moved to the Zapotec Totems , one of the four founding clubs of the league. In 2013 he returned to San Jeronimo.

International

In the junior division, Padilla was on the ice for the Mexican U18 selection at the World Championships in Division III 2010 and 2011 and for the U20 selection in the World Championships in Division II 2010 and 2012 and Division III in 2011 and 2013 . He was the captain of his team at the 2011 U18 World Cup and the 2013 U20 World Cup.

With the men's national team , Padilla took part in the World Championships of Division II in 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 and 2016 . He was also on the ice at the 2014 Pan-American ice hockey tournament, in which he and his team took second place, and at the qualifying tournaments for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and Pyeongchang 2018 .
