Esteban Cifuentes
Esteban Cifuentes Surroca (* 1914 in Barcelona , † October 30, 1938 in Arras ) was a Spanish football player .
Career
Cifuentes began his career in Spain, where he played twice during the 1932/33 season wearing FC Barcelona in the country's top division. At the club, the striker could not prevail, but managed to return to the league in the 1934/35 season, where he came to regular appearances for the city rivals Espanyol Barcelona .
He then moved to neighboring France and signed in 1937 with the first division team Racing Strasbourg ; However, he did not get beyond sporadic missions, so that he turned his back on the club a year later and found work with the French second division team Olympique Nîmes . He suffered a heart attack in October 1938 while his team played away at Arras Football .
