Estelin

The Estelin , also Etelin, Eterlin, Esterlin , was a French gold and silver weight. Goldsmiths counted on the measure as tenth of the lot . 20 estelin was also equivalent to one ounce . The measure was also common in many areas of Switzerland and the Netherlands , but it was slightly different.

  • 1 Estelin = 2 Mailles = 4 Felins = 1.5255 grams (= 2 grams)
  • 1 feline = 0.38342 grams
