Esther Drusche

Esther Drusche (born October 24, 1950 in Berlin ) is a German musicologist and politician ( SPD ). From 1995 to 1999 she was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .

Life

Esther Drusche graduated from the 2nd extended secondary school (Graues Kloster) in Berlin in 1968 while training as a bookseller. From 1968 to 1973 she studied musicology at the Humboldt University in Berlin with Georg Knepler a . a. Drusche worked in the Federal Secretariat of the GDR Kulturbund until 1976 , then in the GDR Ministry of Culture until 1982 . She left the Ministry of Culture at her own request and worked freelance and as an editor until the fall of the Berlin Wall. Since 1993 she has worked in the administration of the State of Berlin, as head of the Office for Education and Culture in Marzahn-Hellersdorf , most recently as head of department in the Senate Administration for Education .

Party and politics

Drusche joined the SPD in 1990 and was a member of the Marzahn district council from 1992 to 1993 . From 1995 to 1999 she was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives. She has been a member since 2008, and since 2014 deputy chairwoman of the Altlandsberg City Council . She is the chairwoman of the supervisory board of Schlossgut GmbH Altlandsberg.
