Etoile de Hollande, also known as Étoile de Hollande, is a rose from the Verschuren house in Haps, a town in the municipality of Cuijk in the Netherlands, that was bred in 1919. It originated from the varieties General MacArthur and Hadley . She is an abundantly blooming rose. Under good conditions and care, it can reach a height of 90 cm.
The flower color is medium red. The up to 7 cm large, aromatic, fragrant flowers are slightly double. The leaves of the rose are imparipinnate. It prefers partial shade as a location and is very suitable as a bedding plant.
Etoile de Hollande is frost hardy down to −29 ° C ( USDA zone 5 ). In an unfavorable location, it is prone to powdery mildew .
