Ettore Bevilacqua

Ettore Bevilacqua (born March 13, 1918 in Montecarotto , † February 28, 1979 in Rome ) was an Italian actor .

Bevilacqua was born one of five children to a butcher and a housewife; soon they will move to Rome. Bevilacqua is interested in boxing and also teaches this sport. During the Second World War he fought in Yugoslavia and married his wife Liliana, with whom he had three children. After the end of the war he found work as an usher in the cinemas of “Scalera Film”, which is soon to become one of the most important companies in Italy. Soon he was working as a masseur and fitness trainer for many actors in Italy and was cast for supporting roles in films; especially his relationship with Federico Fellini , whose personal masseur he became, lasted until his death and thus thirty years. Bevilacqua was also hired for Elizabeth Taylor and Anna Magnani .

His stately appearance and size (1.90 m) let him often represent threatening figures in his small roles.
