Eubulus (sculptor)
Eubulus ( ancient Greek Εϋβουλος ) was an ancient Greek sculptor who worked in Athens during the early Roman Empire .
Today Eubulus is only known from a signature on a marble base . This base was found near the Propylaea on the Acropolis of Athens and was originally the base of an honorary monument. According to the inscription that has been preserved, this memorial was erected by the demos of the Athenians for the demos of the Spartans .
