Eugen Cojocaru (* 1965 in Vaslui ) is a Romanian writer and journalist. He has lived in Germany since August 1990.

In 1987 he received his diploma in literature and art history from the University of Cluj-Napoca . Between 1984 and 1989 he was a freelance journalist for numerous newspapers and magazines: Faclia, Steaua, Napoca Universitara, Tribuna. From 1989 to 1990 he was deputy chief editor of the magazine "ATLAS - FREIES KLAUSENBURG", which he co-founded.

He is currently the foreign correspondent for several important Romanian-language newspapers / magazines: Evenimentul Zilei, Ziua, Convorbiri Literare, Romania Libera, Romania Literara, Curierul National, Monitorul de Cluj, Familia, Poesis, Astra, Radio and TV Romania International in Romania. He has also made numerous contributions abroad: USA, Germany, Canada, Denmark, France and the like. a .: Origini, Observator, Dorul, Cuvantul romanesc, Lumea romaneasca, New York Magazin etc. Articles on the topics of politics, economy, zeitgeist etc. Reports, interviews, stories, poems, theater, film and literary criticism, art reviews, articles on Modern and post-modern .

Cojocaru is a member of the International Association of Romanian Artists - LITERART XXI / USA and Vice President of the Association of Romanian Writers in Germany.
