Felix Eugen Confeld von Felbert (also Cohnfeld ) (born March 1, 1856 in Krefeld , † around 1933 probably in Berlin ) was a German architect and painter.

Career

Confeld received his training as an architect between 1875 and 1880 with Hendrik Beyaert in Brussels and with Franz Ewerbeck at the Polytechnic Aachen , where he graduated on July 25, 1879. Between 1880 and 1888 he stayed in Amsterdam and built extensive storage facilities on the IJ for the Handelskade company .

From 1890 he lived in Berlin. There he built villas in the English country house style in the suburb of Grunewald . He also created the hall for the Konkordia guild.

The RWTH Aachen University Archive has kept a folder with architectural drawings from him since 2010.
