Eugene Hinckel

Eugen Christian Hinckel (born February 6, 1882 in Dillenburg ; † November 1962 ) was a German banker.

Career

Hinckel was born as the son of the watchmaker and jeweler Ernst Hinckel. After high school and university studies, he completed an apprenticeship at Deutsche Effecten- und Wechsel-Bank. He was Reichsbank director in Freiburg and from 1947 to 1952 President of the State Central Bank of Baden, then Chairman of the Baden-Württemberg State Committee of the Rhein-Main-Bank .

He was also a board member of Aluminum GmbH in Rheinfelden and Aluminum Walzwerke Singen GmbH.
