Eugene Lutz

Eugen Lutz (born March 4, 1882 in Lonsingen , † September 14, 1922 in Freudenstadt ) was a Württemberg chief bailiff.

life and work

The son of a teacher attended grammar school in Esslingen until 1900 and studied law and political science in Tübingen and Berlin. In 1904 and 1906 he passed the higher administrative service exams. At first he worked as a government assessor at the Stuttgart District Office and the Kirchheim, Esslingen and Reutlingen authorities. In 1907 and 1908 he did military service with the Hanseatic Infantry Regiment Hamburg. From 1910 to 1913 he was employed again as a government assessor before he became an official at the Reutlingen Oberamt in 1914. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War. In 1918, Lutz took up a position as an Antmann at the Esslingen Regional Office . In 1919 he moved to the Ministry of Food in Stuttgart as a reporter and office director. From 1920 until his untimely death in 1922 he headed the Oberamt Freudenstadt as senior bailiff .
