Eugene Trautwein

Eugen Trautwein (born July 20, 1938 ) is a German entrepreneur and patron.

Live and act

Eugen Trautwein is the son of Ferdinand Trautwein, who co-founded E / D / E - Purchasing Office Deutscher Eisenhandel GmbH in 1931 . In 1967, the graduate in business administration, Trautwein, joined the Wuppertal family company .

His son, Andreas Trautwein, joined the management in 2006 and took over the chairmanship of the management in 2014. In 2002, Eugen Trautwein retired from the management of the company, which he led for around 35 years, and founded the non-profit E / D / E foundation whose chairman of the board of trustees he is.
