Eugen von Regenauer

Eugen von Regenauer (born June 11, 1824 in Karlsruhe , † December 6, 1897 ibid) was a fiscal lawyer from Baden.

Life

Eugen von Regenauer was the son of the later Minister of State for Baden, Franz Anton Regenauer . He studied law at Heidelberg University and became a member of Corps Suevia Heidelberg in 1843 . After parole in the Baden uprising , he was employed in the Baden Ministry of Finance in 1851. In 1857 he was appointed Legation Councilor in the Ministry of the Grand Ducal House of Baden. In 1871, Eugen von Regensburg was seconded to build up the German administration in the realm of Alsace . Upon returning to the Ministry, he became President of the Grand Ducal Civil List . He was Truly Privy Councilor by the title of Excellency .
