Eugeniusz Wyzner

Eugeniusz Wyzner (born October 31, 1931 ) is a Polish diplomat and representative of Poland at the United Nations .

Professional career

Eugeniusz Wyzner studied international law at the University of Warsaw and completed postgraduate studies at the Academy of International Law in The Hague .

Wyzner began his career in 1956 in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the contract department there. Between 1961 and 1968 he was Poland's deputy representative at the United Nations. From 1968 he was Deputy Director in the Department of Legal and Contractual Affairs of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs until he was also proposed as Director in 1971.

From 1994 to 1995 he held the post of Parliamentary Secretary and was Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Poland. Since 1996 he has been Polish State Secretary and First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.
