The ground-living eye animal ( Euglena terricola ) is a protist species from the genus of the eye animal ( Euglena ). It occurs in stagnant water in the bottom sludge.
features
Euglena terricola is 65 to 95 microns long. The cells are long-cylindrical and pointed at the rear end. They are very metabolic and agile. The membrane is striped with delicate screws. There are numerous ligamentous chloroplasts present. The scourge is half the length of the body.
