The mutable eye animal ( Euglena variabilis ) is a species of protists from the genus of the eye animals ( Euglena ). It occurs in eutrophic, plant-rich waters.
features
Euglena variabilis is 30 to 45 micrometers long. The cells are very mobile and have a short tip. There are chloroplasts -Scheibchen present. The scourge is two to three times the length of the body. The eye spot is deep dark red and noticeably large.
