The succulent Euphorbia angularis forms bushes with dense branching and is up to 2 meters high. The square shoots are strongly spread out and prostrate. They are divided with constrictions into irregular and egg-shaped sections that are 15 inches long and 12 inches wide. On the somewhat wing-like edges there are slightly bulged teeth at a distance of 10 to 25 millimeters from one another. The thorn shields form a horn rim about 2.5 millimeters wide. There are thorns up to 1 centimeter in length and small stipple thorns. A thorn is formed on both sides of the inflorescence.

One to three cymes are formed, which stand in a horizontal line and are bifurcated one to three times. The strong peduncle is up to 3 millimeters long. The cyathia are about 9 millimeters in size, the elliptical nectar glands are colored yellow and touch each other. The deeply lobed fruit is about 8 millimeters long and 16 millimeters wide. It stands on a thick stem up to 7 millimeters long. The spherical seed reaches about 3.5 millimeters in diameter and is smooth.
