There are five to six small bracts on these . The male cyathia reach up to 6 millimeters in diameter, the female up to 3 millimeters. The elliptical nectar glands are single. The spherical fruit is up to 8 millimeters in size and is covered with downy hairs. The egg-shaped seed has a smooth surface.
