The brown- winged drongo ( Dicrurus fuscipennis ) is a species of bird from the drongo family .

It is endemic to the Great Comoros , only Karthala mostly around 500 - 900 m altitude.

The distribution area includes tropical or subtropical moist forest , pasture areas and plantations .

description

The brown-winged drongo is the only drongo and the only large black songbird on the island. It is 26 to 29 cm tall, the plumage is deep black throughout with an even, dark, matt blue sheen, and bronze-colored on the wing covers. The forked tail, beak, and toes are black.

Way of life
