Euphorbia decorsei is a species of the genus spurge ( Euphorbia ) in the family of Euphorbiaceae (Euphorbiaceae).

description

The succulent Euphorbia decorsei grows as a tall tree with smooth branches that reach a diameter of about 6 millimeters. The linear and ephemeral leaves are up to 10 millimeters long and 6 millimeters wide.

The inflorescence is formed from cymes that are in tightly arranged clusters. Single- sex cyathias are formed. The three nectar glands are elliptically shaped and stand individually. The bluntly lobed fruit is up to 10 millimeters wide and 7 millimeters long. At the base of the lobes, growths up to 2 millimeters long are formed. The fruit stands on a stalk that is roughly bent back and up to 7 millimeters long. The angular seed has a smooth surface and an appendage .

Distribution and systematics

Euphorbia decorsei is endemic to the south of Madagascar .

The species was first described in 1903 by Emmanuel Drake del Castillo .

Euphorbia decorsei is in the endangered Red List species the IUCN as " Endangered (EN) ," d. H. endangered, classified.
