Eurishofen

Eurishofen is a district of the Jengen community in the Ostallgäu district in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The street village is nine kilometers south of Buchloe on the right bank of the Hühnerbach.

history

The town was founded around 1150 in connection with the barons of Rettenberg. A family of servants, to which Heinrich von Iringishofen belonged, was resident on a castle complex . The castle was lost in the early modern period. Until December 31, 1977 Eurishofen was an independent municipality.
