Euro Offroad Series 2015/16
The Euro Offroad Series 2015/16 (EOS) is the fifth season of the Euro Offroad Series , a racing series for radio-controlled model cars in Europe.
Again four races were held this season. Two races at the Nürburgring and one in Mülheim-Kärlich are new to the calendar .
Classes and regulations
It is driven with radio-controlled model cars on a scale of 1:10. All vehicles are powered by electric motors.
For the new season, the short course classes have been replaced by two stadium truck classes. As a result, four classes were held: one each for 4WD and 2WD buggies and one each for modified and stock stadium trucks. Only in the Stadium Truck Stock class is the motor limited to a standard Muchmore motor with 13.5 windings , all others have free motor choice.
In order to maintain equal opportunities, uniform tires are prescribed in each class.
The sporting process provides for free training sessions, preliminary runs and three finals for each class. In these finals, the two best of each driver are rated, and thus the overall rating is determined. The 2WD and Stadium Truck Stock Finals will be held on the Saturday of a race weekend and the 4WD and Stadium Truck Modified Finals on Sunday.
